1. Setting Up Your Discord Channel
You can choose a text channel or announcement, but we recommend announcement because it's more suitable.
2. Creating a Webhook
- Next, click on the gearbox icon beside the channel name to make a webhook URL.
- Choose Integrations.
- In the Integrations tab, click Create Webhook.
- You can customize the name and its avatar.
- After that, click Copy Webhook URL and save it to Notepad or a text utility app.
3. Signing In to the Application
- Next go to app.mt2dc.com and click Sign in to our application.
- Click Authorize when prompted.
4. Completing the Form
- Fill in all the fields in the form.
- For the Webhook URL, use the saved webhook URL from the previous step.
- For the Watermark URL, it is recommended to use a PNG, which will be placed in the top left corner.
- You can upload to hosting like ibb.co for the watermark URL. For example:

- After all is OK, click Submit.
5. Installing the Plugin
- Download the plugin from https://app.mt2dc.com/MT5toDiscord.zip.
- Check Allow algorithmic trading as well as Allow WebRequest for listed URL (app.mt2dc.com).
- Extract it to some folder and double-click TradeCopy Signal to Discord to install the plugin.
- The plugin should be installed under the Free Robots section in your MT5.
- Right-click it and choose Attach to Chart.
6. Configuring MetaTrader
- Open MetaTrader and go to Tools > Options.
- Check Allow algorithmic trading and Allow WebRequest for listed URL.
- Click + and add app.mt2dc.com (as shown in the image) and click OK.
7. Testing and Using the Plugin
- Go to the Inputs tab and input your username from your registration page (e.g., test_user).
- Click OK and test it by opening any position.
- This is what will be shown in your Signal Channel; you can adjust SL and TP, and the message will update automatically.
8. Using Threads for Discussions
You can reply in the thread to make a discussion. Discussions are contained within threads, so they will not clutter your Discord server.
9. Upgrading to Premium
You can purchase premium to have features like a chart for easier community discussions. To purchase, visit app.mt2dc.com and click Premium to select your plan.
